Cookie Policy

Which cookies we use, what they are for, and how you manage them yourself.

Last updated: June 18, 2026

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device to remember information — for example your language settings or your consent choices. Similar technologies (local storage, pixel tags) are covered by the same rules.

Which cookies do we use?

1. Necessary cookies (always active)

These are required for the site to function. No consent is needed for strictly necessary cookies.

  • cookie_consent — stores your cookie preferences. Expires after 12 months.
  • wp_session — technical WordPress session. Expires when the browser is closed.

2. Analytics cookies (consent required)

We use Google Analytics to keep anonymized statistics on how the site is used. The tool is configured so that IP addresses are anonymized immediately.

  • _ga, _gid, _gat — Google Analytics. Expire after 2 years / 24 hours / 1 minute.

3. Advertising cookies (consent required)

For ads through Google AdSense and partners. These cookies are set only if you accept personalized ads.

  • __gads, __gpi, IDE, NID — Google's ad network. Expire after 13 months or sooner.

How do you manage your consent?

On your first visit, the cookie banner offers a choice: accept only necessary cookies, or accept all. You can change your choice at any time by withdrawing or giving consent again on this site.

You can also manage cookies manually through your browser settings — in Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge you will find this option under "Privacy and security".

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by external providers (Google). We do not have full control over them. More information is in their own privacy policies:

Changes

We may update this cookie policy if we change our setup or if the law changes. The latest version is always on this page.
